Terms of Service

1. The Service

ARSA Face Recognition API ("the Service"), operated by ARSA Technology, provides face detection, recognition, verification, analytics, and liveness detection via a REST API and web dashboard. By creating an account or calling the API you agree to these terms.

2. Your Responsibilities

You are responsible for how you use biometric processing in your own products. In particular, you agree to:

• Obtain all consents and provide all notices legally required from the individuals whose face images you submit, under laws applicable to you (e.g., GDPR, Indonesia's UU PDP, and similar regulations)
• Use the Service only for lawful purposes — no surveillance of individuals without a legal basis, no harassment, and no discrimination
• Keep your API key confidential and follow reasonable key-security practices
• Not attempt to probe, breach, or circumvent the Service's security, rate limits, or account isolation
• Not resell raw access to the Service without our written agreement

3. Biometric Data

We process face data on your instructions as described in our Privacy Policy: images are processed transiently, only registered face embeddings are stored, and your face database is isolated to your account and deletable by you at any time.

4. Plans, Billing & Fair Use

• Plan quotas, rate limits, and prices are described on the pricing page. Paid plans are billed monthly via PayPal.
• The free tier is provided for evaluation and light production use and may not be abused via multiple accounts.
• You can cancel at any time; access continues until the end of the paid period. Quota does not roll over.
• We may adjust prices or plan limits with advance notice.

5. Availability & Support

We work to keep the Service available and performant but do not guarantee uninterrupted operation. Scheduled maintenance may temporarily limit access. Support is provided via the dashboard ticket system and email.

6. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its models and software, remains the property of ARSA Technology. You retain all rights to the data you submit and the applications you build.

7. Termination

You may close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, abuse the platform, or create legal risk — with notice where practicable. Upon termination your face database and account data are deleted as described in the Privacy Policy.

8. Disclaimers & Liability

The Service is provided "as is". Face recognition is probabilistic technology; you are responsible for choosing appropriate thresholds, fallbacks, and human review for your use case. To the maximum extent permitted by law, ARSA Technology's aggregate liability is limited to the fees you paid in the twelve months preceding the claim.

9. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Indonesia.
